Rachel here again! I hope you don’t mind that I’m writing this in English (my Polish isn’t good enough).
As you may already know, I’m a researcher here in Newcastle looking at Polish families.
I've three pieces of information you may find useful:
Essential Guide for Polish Parents
Following some research conducted in 2008 by an expert team at Middlesex University there’s now an ‘Essential Guide for Polish parents’ (free to download from the Economic Social Research Council website).

Tax Credits Guide for Polish Parents looking after a child with a disability
A charity called ‘Contact a Family’ has produced a guide for Polish Parents in the UK who look after a child with a disability.

Become a Netmum!
Lastly, most of the Polish families I’ve interviewed so far weren’t aware of a really useful website called ‘Netmums’. The website gives you lists of all the events going on in your local area, and places to take the kids for free. Very useful with the school holidays approaching!
